Lauren Bockhorn, MD
Dr. Lauren Bockhorn is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon in Rockwall and Greenville, Texas, dedicated to helping patients find relief from neck and back pain through both traditional and minimally invasive techniques. Born and raised in Brenham, Texas, she takes pride in caring for patients from Rockwall and surrounding rural communities, much like the one she grew up in. She earned her undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston, completed her medical degree at Texas A&M, and went on to finish her orthopedic surgery residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Bockhorn then completed advanced fellowship training in spine surgery at the University of California San Diego, where she gained expertise in treating complex spinal conditions with precision and compassion.
She treats a wide range of back and neck conditions, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, sciatica, degenerative disc disease, and scoliosis. Dr. Bockhorn believes in caring for people the way she would care for her own family, offering clear guidance, genuine compassion, and thoughtful surgical care.
Dr. Bockhorn is a member of the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, North American Spine Society, Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bockhorn enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, scuba diving, and going to concerts.
