Juan Salazar, PA-C

Juan Salazar is a physician assistant at Lake Pointe Orthopaedics, seeing patients in Rockwall and Richardson, TX. Raised in Tyler, Texas, Juan earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler before going on to complete his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.

Prior to PA school, Juan worked as a traveling exercise physiologist, providing health screening services to firefighters across the country, an experience that deepened his understanding of musculoskeletal health and the demands placed on active, working individuals. He is a member of Pi Alpha, the national physician assistant honor society recognizing academic achievement, leadership, research, and service.

Outside of the clinic, Juan enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, and staying active.
