Notice to our Patients about COVID-19

covid-19

As our practice responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our patients and employees remains our top priority. Here’s how we’re responding within our clinic to reduce the impact of COVID-19:

      — ALL patients and staff are required to wear a face covering (for example: mask, bandana) while in the waiting room, exam room, and checking in and out.

      — Please do not bring any extra people with you to your appointment. Exceptions to this include if you are the parent of a minor, assisting an elderly patient, or helping a patient that cannot get around by themselves.

      — We will be following social distancing rules in the waiting room. Please maintain a distance of 6 feet between you and other patients!

      — We are screening patients for recent travel, possible exposure, and coronavirus symptoms. We encourage patients and employees to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 if they suspect possible exposure. When scheduling an appointment a staff member will screen you for the following conditions: new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, feeling feverish or having a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19.

      — We are following The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment, and other elements of the work environment. This is done between patient visits as well as after morning clinic and end of day.

      — We are promoting frequent and thorough hand washing and use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer by all clinic staff as well as patients.

      — We are conducting video and phone Telemedicine appointments when possible in order to limit patient exposure to public areas.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the changing recommendations and practice guidelines. Please contact us with any questions.
