We are excited and proud to announce a new location of Lake Pointe Orthopaedics, is opening on April 24th! We are thrilled to bring a highly skilled team of doctors to the Richardson orthopaedic community.
A Little Bit About Our Richardson Orthopaedic Doctors
The new team serving the Richardson location includes Dr. Joel Zarling, Dr. Daniel Weido, Dr. Jonathan D. Boyle, and Dr. Kurt Johnson, who collectively offer a range of specialties to treat orthopaedic needs from head to toe. Dr. Zarling will be transferring from an existing location, whereas Dr. Johnson, Dr. Weido, and Dr. Boyle are three new physicians who have joined the Lake Pointe Orthopaedics team. This allows us to bring additional training and specialties to the practice.
Dr. Joel Zarling
A board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He has completed a long list of educational achievements, including his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr. Zarling is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, among others.
Dr. Daniel Weido
A podiatric foot and ankle surgeon trained extensively in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery, sports medicine, and limb salvage during his three-year surgical residency in foot & ankle surgery at Tucson Medical Center in Arizona.
Dr. Jonathan D. Boyle
A hand surgeon who completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery. Dr. Boyle has a special interest in disorders of the upper extremity. He is well-versed in minimally invasive techniques to address problems of the hand, wrist, and elbow. His clinical expertise includes traumatic upper extremity injuries, including fractures and tendon/nerve lacerations, arthritis, sports-related injuries, and peripheral nerve issues.
Dr. Kurt Johnson
A fellowship-trained joint replacement specialist skilled in minimally invasive procedures and revision joint replacement. He trained in the largest medical center in the world, evaluating and managing patients with some of the most complex and progressed musculoskeletal diseases. Afterward, he chose to sub-specialize in treating lower extremity arthritis, a condition that all too commonly afflict us as we age.
