Common Conditions We Treat

DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE
As discs between the vertebrae wear down with age, they can lead to chronic back or neck pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. This is one of the most common causes of spine-related discomfort.
HERNIATED DISC
Occurs when the soft inner core of a spinal disc pushes through the tougher outer layer, pressing on nearby nerves. This can cause sharp back pain, numbness, or tingling in the arms or legs.
SPINAL STENOSIS
A narrowing of the spinal canal that puts pressure on the spinal cord and nerves, often resulting in pain, cramping, or weakness in the back, neck, or legs, especially when standing or walking.
SCIATICA
Caused by compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve, sciatica can lead to shooting pain, burning, or tingling sensations that travel from the lower back down one leg.
CERVICAL RADICULOPATHY (PINCHED NERVE)
When a nerve in the neck becomes compressed or irritated, it can lead to radiating pain, weakness, or numbness in the shoulders, arms, or hands.
SPINAL INSTABILITY
When spinal segments move abnormally or excessively, patients may experience pain, muscle spasms, or a sense that the spine feels “off” or unstable.
SPINAL FRACTURES
Breaks or cracks in the spinal bones, usually caused by trauma or osteoporosis, can result in sudden back pain, height loss, or spinal deformity.
SPONDYLOLISTHESIS
A condition where one vertebra slips out of place onto the vertebra below it, often leading to lower back pain, muscle tightness, or nerve-related symptoms.
SCOLIOSIS
An abnormal sideways curvature of the spine that may develop in childhood or adulthood. It can cause back pain, uneven posture, or noticeable spine deformities.
MYELOPATHY
Compression of the spinal cord, often due to stenosis or disc herniation, can interfere with nerve function, causing balance issues, hand clumsiness, or coordination problems.
OUR PHYSICIANS WILL EVALUATE YOUR YOUR SPINE, BACK, OR NECK CONDITION TO DETERMINE IF YOU ARE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR SURGERY.
In many cases, non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy, activity modification, or pain management can provide meaningful relief without the need for surgery. If surgical intervention is recommended, our team will walk you through every step of the process and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals.
